In just FOUR weekly online video calls you will learn a scientifically validated process to provide strategies that encourage and support an effective and sustainable practice of energy-management skills. This increases the ability of the individual to more effectively self-regulate and to sustain their composure and balance as they face the day-to-day challenges in their personal and professional lives. HeartMath® was first a research based company that found every heart holds a wisdom and intelligence that can help guide everyone through their adversities. The primary objective of the Building Personal Resilience™ process is to provide strategies that encourage and support an effective and sustainable practice of energy-management skills. This increases the ability of the individual to more effectively self-regulate and to sustain their composure and balance as they face the day-to-day challenges in their personal and professional lives.
What is particularly unique to HeartMath® is: it's a system of science-based, coherence-building skills designed to help people bring their physical, mental and emotional systems into balanced alignment with their heart's intuitive guidance. This process increases self-awareness and builds and sustains resilience by enhancing people's ability to more intelligently self-regulate their energy, which directly affects performance and personal fulfillment. This unfolds the steps to fulfillment through becoming 'who we truly are.' It's the consistent use of the personal energy-management techniques that helps individuals grow personally and achieve their personal and professional goals.
Due to my licensing agreement with HeartMath®, this course will not be recorded. Your personal attendance is an important part of the training. Each session builds on the other and this course is interactive, so it is highly beneficial to commit to the attendance. Please enable your video/audio on your computer or smart device, and plan to attend in a quiet and private room. A headset is preferred, but not required. Because the weather is fabulous this time of year (well at least in my longitude/latitude) feel free to bring your laptop, smart device, or phone outside. A headset may help substantially if there is outside noise.
Students who are new to video conferencing may feel strange with it, but imagine we will be sitting across a table from one another, and you can engage in the conversation as much as you are comfortable. We will have limited time, so there won't be a ton of personal sharing. We will have periods of time in which the techniques that I teach are practiced, which is an internal (non-talking) exercise.

This course is limited to the FIRST 10 people to register. Why? I am limited in the licensing requirements, so just 10, and there will be no video recording of the event.

Although you can use a HRV measuring device, it is not required and not initially recommended for the early stages of this training. For the science types and techy endurance athletes, this is good information to know!

One technique that is offered in this training is to *observe* what emotions that we have as a routine and to determine if they recharge or deplete our energetic battery reserves. The more energy renewing emotions that we have, the more resilient we are even in the face of difficulties. If you look at this from just a hormonal perspective, we have more 'grease for the gears' so some normal levels of stress don't create unnecessary physiological and psychological burden.
